Conduct a public hearing and approve a resolution authorizing the City Manager to apply for and accept funds from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s (TPWD) Local Park Grant Program that will partially fund improvements to Bolm District Park and to take actions necessary to comply with requirements imposed as part of the Local Park Grant Program, including executing any necessary agreements. Funding: If successful and funding is awarded, up to $1,500,000 construction costs can be reimbursed by TPWD. A City match of $1,500,000 is required and is available in the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Operating Budget of Austin Parks and Recreation.
